Beaminster Town Council has been gifted a 16-seater bus from Dorset County Council and plans are being made to introduce a Saturday Bus Service, operating between Bridport and Crewkerne, stopping at Beaminster and a number of villages including Broadwindsor. It is hoped that the timetable can be arranged so that travellers can connect with the X51, X53, South West Coaches No.96 and train services at Crewkerne.
A first draft of a timetable has been produced and Beaminster Town Council want to hear from local communities to find out when they need to travel. Please do take a look at the draft and feedback your thoughts, concerns and suggestions so that a service that meets the real needs of local people can be developed.
