Members of the public were asked to vote on whether they supported the proposals, 68 people were in favour and 12 voted against . You can download the presentation from the meeting here. New Broadwindsor Councillors
A very big welcome to two new Members who will be representing the Broadwindsor ward, Richard Moulsdale and Dorothy Rowe. We wish them well in their new positions and very much look forward to working with them.
Your Council Needs You ……Again
There is currently a vacant position on the Council for the Drimpton Ward. Parish Councillors have the opportunity to make a real difference to their community and it can be both a rewarding and interesting experience. The Council meets every month and Councillors should be accessible to the community, represent the interests of their ward, deal with parishioner enquiries, representations and complaints and participate constructively in the government of the Parish. The deadline for expressions of interest, which should comprise a covering letter and cv, sent to the Clerk, is 10 October.
